The 4.5L V8 diesel's injectors accumulate carbon deposits and suffer tip erosion as mileage climbs, presenting as rough idle, hard hot-starting, slight blue or white smoke and reduced power. We test and clean injectors before recommending replacement — testing and cleaning runs AED 800–2,000, full replacement AED 1,500–4,000 per injector depending on condition and whether OEM or quality aftermarket units are used.
